PHILADELPHIA, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has announced upcoming construction work affecting several state highways in Philadelphia, Delaware, and Montgomery counties. Key construction activities and their schedules include:

  • Philadelphia: A single-lane closure will occur on Arch Street, between Front Street and 15th Street, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM daily for resurfacing preparation.
  • Delaware County: Lawrence Road in Haverford Township, between Route 3 (West Chester Pike) and Darby Creek Road, will see lane closures with flagging from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM for inlet repair work.
  • Montgomery County:
    • Cross Road, between Route 73 (Skippack Pike) and Route 113 (Harleysville Pike) in Skippack and Upper Salford townships, will undergo daily lane closures with flagging from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and then nightly from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM, for milling and paving.
    • Grosstown Road, between High Street and Berks Street in West Pottsgrove Township, will be subject to similar closures during the same hours for milling, paving, and utility work.
