PennDOT to Begin Pipe Replacement Work on Stump Road

Traffic Restrictions

PLUMSTEAD TWP, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has announced pipe replacement work is set to begin next week on Stump Road in Plumstead Township, Bucks County. The planned project aims to enhance roadway infrastructure and drainage in the area.

From Tuesday, May 27, through Friday, May 30, Stump Road will be closed to through traffic between Route 313 (Swamp Road) and Route 611 (Easton Road). Construction activities will occur daily from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

To accommodate the closure, a detour will guide motorists along Route 313, Route 113 (Bedminster Road), and Route 611. Local access will be maintained up to the work zone to minimize disruptions for residents.

Drivers navigating through the area are advised to allow for extra travel time as delays and backups are expected. PennDOT noted that all scheduled work is weather-dependent and may be rescheduled in the event of adverse conditions.
