Lane Restrictions Scheduled for Route 30 Wrights Ferry Bridge Inspection

LANCASTER COUNTY, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has announced a scheduled bridge inspection on the Route 30 Wrights Ferry Bridge, which spans the Susquehanna River between Hellam Township in York County and Columbia Borough in Lancaster County.

The inspection will take place over several days, weather permitting, with daytime lane restrictions in effect from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM on the following dates:

  • Thursday, May 15, and Friday, May 16
  • Monday, May 19, to Thursday, May 22
  • Tuesday, May 27, to Friday, May 30

Traffic will be restricted in one direction at a time, starting with the eastbound lanes (York County to Lancaster County) before moving to the westbound lanes (Lancaster County to York County). During the inspection, the right lane and shoulder will be closed in the designated work zone.

Motorists are advised to remain alert, follow all work zone signage, and exercise caution for their safety and that of the inspection crews.
