Line Striping Work to Cause Lane Closures on I-95 Ramps in Philadelphia

Traffic Alert

PHILADELPHIA, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has announced scheduled line striping work across key I-95 ramps, which will result in periodic lane closures from Monday, April 28, through Thursday, May 29.

Crews will be working weekdays between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM, impacting several off-ramps, including the northbound and southbound exits to Callowhill Street, Broad Street (Route 611), Front Street, Packer Avenue, and Penrose Avenue (Route 291). Closures will also affect both directions of the Enterprise Avenue on-ramps to I-95.

Motorists traveling through these areas are advised to anticipate delays and allow additional time for their commutes as backups are likely during working hours. PennDOT has specified that the project schedule is weather dependent and may be adjusted as needed.

Kuharchik Construction, Inc., based in Exeter, is serving as the general contractor on this federally funded project.

Drivers are urged to exercise caution while navigating the work zones to ensure the safety of both construction crews and motorists.
