PARKESBURG, PA — A 31-year-old man is facing felony firearms charges and related offenses following an incident in Atglen Borough on April 17, 2025. Law enforcement officials detailed the arrest, which involved significant inter-agency collaboration to ensure its successful resolution.
According to the Parkesburg Borough Police Department, Stephen Patrick MacNeal was taken into custody during an operation that saw support from several neighboring police departments and specialized units within Chester County. Police have alleged that MacNeal committed firearms violations, and he was subsequently processed and transported to Chester County Prison.
MacNeal has been charged with “Person Not to Possess Firearms” along with additional related offenses. He was arraigned, and his bail was set at $25,000 cash. A preliminary hearing has been scheduled at District Court 15-3-07 to address the allegations.
