Traffic Alert: Weeklong Closure of Eastbound Route 724 Begins August 4 in East Coventry

EAST COVENTRY TWP, PA — East Coventry Township officials have announced a full closure of eastbound Route 724 (Schuylkill Road) beginning Monday, August 4, to facilitate roadway construction and paving operations in Chester County.

The closure, which will remain in effect around the clock through Monday, August 11, will impact the stretch of Route 724 between the U.S. 422 Interchange and Sanatoga Road. Passenger vehicles will be detoured via Old Schuylkill Road and Route 724, while larger trucks will follow a more extensive detour using U.S. 422, Route 100 (Pottstown Pike), Route 23 (Ridge Road), and Route 724.
