SOUTHEASTERN PA – PennDOT announced that resurfacing operations will take place next week on several major state highways across Philadelphia, Bucks, Chester, and Delaware counties as part of a regional effort to repair and repave more than 200 miles of roadway.
In Philadelphia, nighttime lane closures for line painting will occur October 20–24 on Penn Square, Chestnut Street, and Walnut Street. In Bucks County, crews will perform pavement repairs on U.S. 13 (Bristol Pike) and Knights Road in Bensalem Township.
Chester County drivers should expect daytime lane restrictions October 20–24 on Saint Matthews Road in West Vincent Township and October 23–24 on Hibernia Road in West Brandywine Township. In Delaware County, milling and paving will affect Beatty Road, Township Line Road, and Lawrence Road from October 19–24.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through work zones, as delays are expected. All work is weather dependent.
