WEST NANTMEAL TWP, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has announced a planned pipe replacement project that will necessitate the closure of Route 82 (Manor Road) in West Nantmeal Township, Chester County.

The closure will begin on Monday, July 7, and extend through Friday, July 11. Work will take place daily from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. During this period, Route 82 will be closed and detoured between Route 282 (Creek Road) and Little Conestoga Road. Motorists traveling through the area will be directed to use Route 282, Fairview Road, and Little Conestoga Road as alternate routes.

Local access will be maintained up to the construction zone; however, drivers should anticipate delays and are encouraged to allow extra travel time. All work schedules are weather-dependent and subject to change if necessary.

Motorists are advised to exercise caution in the vicinity of work zones and remain attentive to detour signage.
