BIRMINGHAM TWP, PA — PECO Energy has announced plans to conduct tree removal operations on Creek Road in Birmingham Township, Chester County, starting on Tuesday, June 24, 2025. The work is scheduled to continue through Friday, June 27, and will occur daily from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
To ensure the safety of workers and the public, Creek Road will be closed between Meetinghouse Road and Wylie Road during these hours. Motorists will be directed to follow marked detour routes using Route 926 (Street Road), U.S. 202 (Wilmington Pike), and Brintons Bridge Road. Local access will be maintained, but travelers should anticipate delays and are advised to allow extra time when navigating through the area.
PECO Energy emphasized that all scheduled activities are weather dependent and encouraged drivers to exercise caution near the work zone.
