EAST BRADFORD TWP, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has announced that construction will begin next week on Route 52 (Bradford Avenue) in East Bradford Township, Chester County.
From Monday, June 9, through Friday, June 13, single-lane closures, managed with flaggers, will be in place from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM daily. The affected section of Route 52 will span from Tacie Lynn Drive to Rosedale Avenue, as crews conduct a subsurface investigation critical to the project.
Officials have advised motorists to allow additional travel time through the work zone, as delays and backups are expected. The schedule is subject to change based on weather conditions.
Highway Materials, Inc., based in Flourtown, will oversee the work as the project’s general contractor. Funding for this effort is fully supported by state resources.
Drivers are encouraged to remain alert while navigating the construction area and exercise caution to ensure the safety of workers and other motorists.
