FRANKLIN TWP, PA — Aqua Pennsylvania has announced a weekday closure of Route 896 (New London Road) in Franklin Township, Chester County, to complete paving operations scheduled to begin Monday, July 28.

The closure will be in effect daily from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM through Thursday, August 7, between Gypsy Hill Road and Parsons Road. During the work period, detours will guide motorists along Route 841 (Chesterville Road), Strickersville Road, and Appleton Road.

Local access will remain available for residents and businesses in the area. However, drivers should anticipate delays and plan accordingly. All construction activities are dependent on weather conditions.
