KING OF PRUSSIA, PA — This Veterans Day, Tuesday, November 11, the Washington Memorial Veterans Commission has announced that it will host a heartfelt service and reception at the Washington Memorial Chapel at 10:30 AM to honor and celebrate all veterans for their courage, dedication, and sacrifices for our country.
The Choral Matins Service will pay tribute to veterans from all wars, recognizing their love of country and commitment to protecting our freedoms, and at 11:00 AM the Carillon Bells will toll in their remembrance. The event will also feature Vietnam veteran and Purple Heart recipient Dave Tatum, a Darby Borough, PA native whose service was featured in Life Magazine in 1967 and who now serves as a board member of the Pennsylvania Veterans Museum.
Following the service, a reception will be held for attendees to honor and connect with veterans. This event is free of charge and open to all, but a suggested $10 donation is appreciated. To RSVP, visit https://evite.me/BWdtVkUH9Z.
