WAYNE, PA — Sow Good Now, a nonprofit dedicated to empowering underserved youth through sports, will host its second annual lacrosse GiveBack event on Wednesday, June 25, 2025. The event runs from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Valley Forge Military Academy, located at 820 Radnor Rd in Wayne, PA, and aims to introduce the sport of lacrosse to thirty girls from Norristown, aged eight to sixteen.
Organized in partnership with Phantastix Lacrosse, the event will provide participants with complimentary lacrosse sticks and hands-on instruction from high school players. The KB Foundation is also involved, supporting this day of skill-building to reach girls who may not have previously had the chance to play lacrosse.
Sow Good Now has been working since 2018 to positively impact communities in Philadelphia, Chester, and Delaware Counties. By using sports as a tool for growth, the organization fosters teamwork, confidence, and valuable life skills among youth with limited access to such opportunities.
This event reflects Sow Good Now’s commitment to extending the benefits of physical activity and mentorship to young people, helping create meaningful experiences that can inspire and empower future generations.
