Communities That Care Awarded Grant to Expand Prevention Efforts in Downingtown

DOWNINGTOWN, PACommunities That Care of Greater Downingtown (CTC) has received a $4,500 community capacity-building grant from CCRES to strengthen partnerships and promote mental health while working to prevent substance use among local youth and families.

The funding will support collaboration with schools, law enforcement, community groups, youth-serving organizations, and faith-based partners to deliver programs and resources throughout the Downingtown area.

“On behalf of CTC of Greater Downingtown, I want to express our heartfelt thanks for CCRES’s generous grant support,” said CTC Executive Director Carmen Glenn. “Their investment in our work not only provides critical financial resources but also affirms the value and impact of our mission. We are truly honored to have CCRES as a community partner and appreciate them helping us make a meaningful difference in our Downingtown community.”
