KENNETT SQUARE, PA — A morning of helpful resources, live music, and community connection is coming to Kennett Square as local seniors are invited to take part in a free event designed just for them.
State Rep. Christina Sappey will host a Senior Citizen Fair on Saturday, April 18, bringing together nearly 60 vendors to provide information, services, and support for older adults across the region.
Held at Unionville High School, the event aims to make it easy for seniors and their families to access important resources—all in one place.
Resources, Screenings, and Support
Attendees can explore a wide range of state programs and local services, while also taking advantage of free health screenings, including blood pressure checks and hearing tests.
For those 65 and older, the event also offers the opportunity to apply for or renew a SEPTA Key Card, making public transportation more accessible.
Beyond the services, the fair will feature light refreshments and live music performed by Unionville High School student musicians, adding a welcoming and community-focused atmosphere to the morning.
Giving Back While Gathering
Guests are also encouraged to bring non-perishable food donations to support the Kennett Area Community Service Food Cupboard. While donations are appreciated, they are not required to attend.
