WEST CHESTER, PA — Two former and current NFL standouts will crisscross Chester County this December to deliver coats, gifts, food, and personal support to families facing hardship, marking one of the region’s largest athlete-led holiday outreach efforts in recent years.
New York Jets tight end Kenny Yeboah and Eagles legend Seth Joyner are partnering with THE POINT, Legacy Plastic Surgery & Aesthetics, and JB Sports Ventures to bring warmth and relief to households struggling through the winter season. The initiatives—spanning school visits, community distributions, and doorstep deliveries—underscore a growing focus on direct, local impact.
Yeboah’s first stop will be Reeceville Elementary School in Coatesville on December 11 from 9:30 to 10:30 AM, where he will join Santa Claus in greeting students and staff. While no items will be distributed at the school, winter coats, hats, and other essentials will be delivered to THE POINT for its holiday gift distribution program, serving youth and families throughout the Octorara region.
His outreach continues on December 16 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at THE POINT in Parkesburg, where he will personally help distribute coats, food, and gifts to families in need. Yeboah said the effort reflects his ongoing commitment to the community. He noted that the region “poured into” his life as a young athlete and added that giving back now allows him to return that support during a time when many families face financial strain.
THE POINT, a long-standing youth and family center, serves children ages 8 to 18 through mentorship, meals, after-school programs, and leadership development. Executive Director Dwayne Walton said Yeboah’s support will “bring hope during a season that can be difficult for many,” especially households navigating economic challenges.
JB Sports Ventures CEO Justin Brown, whose company helped organize both outreach efforts, said Yeboah’s involvement reflects an ongoing push to connect professional athletes with community-based organizations. Brown said the initiative aims to ensure “no family feels forgotten this holiday season.”
Just days after Yeboah’s school visit, retired Eagles linebacker Seth Joyner will embark on a highly coordinated, three-stop gift delivery across Chester County. On December 13 from 8:00 to 11:30 AM, Joyner—joined by his wife Kendra, Legacy Plastic Surgery staff, and JB Sports Ventures—will personally deliver presents and household necessities to three families in Downingtown and Coatesville.
The team will gather at Legacy Plastic Surgery & Aesthetics in Exton at 8:15 AM before departing for a series of scheduled drop-offs. Joyner said the outreach reflects his belief that the holidays should be a moment of care and connection, adding that he hopes the effort encourages others to give back in their own ways.
Legacy Office Manager Adrienne Santoleri said the collaboration offers the community “a reminder of the true meaning of the holidays,” while Brown emphasized that the partnership shows what is possible when local organizations unite around a common goal.
Stops on the December 13 route include a Downingtown household on Viaduct Avenue at 9:15 AM, followed by two Coatesville homes—one on North 5th Avenue at 10:00 AM and another on Merchant Street at 11:00 AM—before concluding shortly before noon.
Together, the combined efforts of Yeboah, Joyner, THE POINT, Legacy Plastic Surgery, and JB Sports Ventures aim to bring warmth, stability, and joy to Chester County families during a season defined by community and compassion.
