DOWNINGTOWN, PA — Sow Good Now, a local nonprofit that connects student-athletes with underserved youth through sports and service, has been selected to receive the 2025 Outstanding Youth in Philanthropy Award from the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) Greater Philadelphia Chapter.
The award will be presented during the National Philanthropy Day breakfast on Wednesday, November 12, at The Crystal Tea Room in Philadelphia’s historic Wanamaker Building. The event honors individuals and organizations that exemplify generosity, community engagement, and a sustained commitment to giving back.
Founded as a 501(c)(3) public charity, Sow Good Now partners with high school and college athletes to inspire the next generation of changemakers. By combining athletics with lessons in generosity, the organization fosters collaboration, mentorship, and a lifelong dedication to philanthropy.
This recognition highlights the collective effort of Sow Good Now’s volunteers, donors, coaches, schools, and community partners who have supported its mission to make service and sports a unifying force for good.
