Woman Charged After Firearm Found in Rental Car

WEST LAWN, PA — A 31-year-old woman is facing a firearms charge after a handgun was allegedly discovered inside a rental vehicle returned to a West Lawn business, according to the Spring Township Police Department.

Authorities said that on September 22, 2025, officers were dispatched to the Enterprise Rent-A-Car located at 2724 Penn Avenue after employees found a firearm left behind in a returned vehicle. Upon arrival, police reportedly located a blue .380 Taurus Spectrum handgun inside the vehicle’s center console compartment. The firearm was found with one round in the chamber and three additional rounds in the magazine.

On October 1st, following an investigation, police charged 31-year-old Jalynes Rosario with carrying a firearm without a license.

All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
