Wilmington Police Investigate Sunday Evening Shooting on West 6th Street

WILMINGTON, DEWilmington Police are investigating a Sunday evening shooting that left a 34-year-old man injured in the 700 block of West 6th Street.

Authorities say the incident occurred at approximately 7:04 p.m. on October 19, 2025. Responding officers located the victim, who had sustained a gunshot wound and later arrived at a local hospital in stable condition.

Officials have not released details regarding possible suspects or motives. The investigation remains active as detectives continue to gather evidence and interview witnesses.
