WILMINGTON, DE — Wilmington Police are investigating a Thursday night shooting that left a 17-year-old male injured in the area of 5th and West Streets.
According to authorities, the incident occurred at approximately 9:31 p.m. Officers responding to the scene located the teenage victim, who was suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital, where he was reported to be in stable condition.
Police have not released details regarding possible suspects or a motive, and the investigation remains ongoing.
