Wilmington Police Hunt Motorcyclist in Hit-and-Run That Injured Pedestrian

WILMINGTON, DEWilmington Police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the person responsible for a hit-and-run collision that injured a pedestrian earlier this month.

Authorities say the incident occurred on August 5, just before 11 p.m., in the 3300 block of North Market Street. Investigators determined that a motorcycle struck a pedestrian and then fled the scene without stopping.

The victim was transported to a local hospital, where police say they were listed in stable condition. No further details regarding the motorcycle or its operator have been released.
