WILMINGTON, DE — Wilmington Police announced that a man who was critically injured in a shooting last month has died from his injuries.
Authorities reported that the victim, identified as Lee Morr Harris, succumbed to his injuries on September 17. The Delaware Division of Forensic Sciences later confirmed that his death resulted from injuries sustained in the August 11 shooting.
The incident occurred at approximately 6:10 p.m. in the 500 block of West 9th Street. At that time, officers located a 32-year-old male suffering from gunshot wounds. He was transported to the hospital in critical condition, and his condition remained serious until his passing last week.
The case remains under active investigation, and police have not released additional details regarding possible suspects.
