Wilmington Police Arrest Two, Recover Firearms and Narcotics

WILMINGTON, DEWilmington Police announced the arrest of two individuals and the recovery of firearms, ammunition, and narcotics following an investigation by the Safe Streets Task Force on October 15.

According to authorities, officers were conducting a firearm investigation in the unit block of West 36th Street at approximately 7:44 p.m. when they recovered two 9mm handguns, including one reported stolen from the New Castle County Police jurisdiction. Investigators also seized ammunition, approximately 644 grams of marijuana, and various drug packaging materials and paraphernalia.

Police took 18-year-old Naseer Bullock and a 17-year-old male into custody without incident.

Bullock has been charged with possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, three counts of possession of a firearm or ammunition by a person prohibited, and possession of a controlled substance with the intent to deliver. He was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 11 and released after posting $28,000 secured bail.

The 17-year-old male faces charges of possession of a firearm by a person prohibited and receiving a stolen firearm. He was arraigned in the same court and released on $3,000 unsecured bail.

All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
