WILMINGTON, DE — A Wilmington man is facing a series of serious firearm-related charges after police recovered two loaded handguns during a search of his residence earlier this month, according to authorities.
On July 2, 2025, at approximately 11:04 a.m., members of the Wilmington Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division executed a search warrant in the 2800 block of Rosemont Avenue. During the operation, officers took 28-year-old Dahmere White into custody without incident.
As part of the search, investigators recovered two loaded 9mm handguns. Following this discovery, White was charged with four counts of possession of a firearm or ammunition by a person prohibited, as well as tampering with physical evidence.
