Wilmington Man Arrested on Drug Charges Following Police Investigation

WILMINGTON, DEWilmington Police announced the arrest of a city man on multiple drug charges following an operation conducted earlier this week.

Authorities reported that on September 29, 2025, at approximately 11:52 a.m., members of the Drug, Organized Crime, and Vice Division were patrolling the 1700 block of West 3rd Street when they observed activity believed to be connected to narcotics distribution.

Officers made contact with 23-year-old Devin Pearson, who was taken into custody without incident. During the arrest, police allege Pearson was found to be in possession of 2.07 grams of crack cocaine and 1.17 grams of heroin.

Investigators charged Pearson with two counts of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver. Following arraignment in Justice of the Peace Court 11, he was released after posting $10,000 secured bail.

All charges remain allegations, and a suspect, arrestee, or defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
