Who Is He? Philadelphia Police Hunt Armed Robbery Suspect

PHILADELPHIA, PA — The Philadelphia Police Department’s Northwest Detective Division is asking for the public’s help to identify a man wanted in connection with an alleged armed robbery at a McDonald’s in North Philadelphia.

Investigators say the incident occurred on Tuesday, August 20, 2025, at approximately 10:15 a.m. at the restaurant located at 4200 North Broad Street. According to police, a man entered the business, approached the cashier, and allegedly produced a handgun while demanding money from the register.

Surveillance footage shows the cashier assisting a customer when the suspect drew the firearm and made his demands, authorities said. The man fled with an undisclosed amount of cash, heading westbound on Hunting Park Avenue. Additional cameras later captured the same individual running westbound on the 1600 block of West Paul Street, police reported.

Police described the suspect as a Black male wearing a gray “New Balance” hooded sweatshirt, black pants, and gray-and-white “New Balance” sneakers.
