WILMINGTON, DE Wilmington Police are investigating a shooting that left one man injured late Sunday night in the city’s South Harrison Street area.

According to authorities, the incident occurred on September 7, 2025, at approximately 10:52 p.m., in the 200 block of South Harrison Street. Responding officers located a 36-year-old man who had sustained a gunshot wound.

The victim was transported to a local hospital, where he was reported to be in stable condition.

Detectives are continuing to examine the circumstances of the shooting. Officials have not released information regarding potential suspects or a possible motive at this time.
