Warrington Walmart Employee Charged in Alleged Cash Theft

WARRINGTON, PA — An 18-year-old Warrington resident has been charged following an investigation into an alleged employee theft at the Walmart store on Easton Road, according to the Warrington Township Police Department.

Police said that on October 4, 2025, officers responded to the store after receiving a report from loss prevention staff who suspected an employee of stealing cash from a register. Investigators allege that Rudra Raju Patel had taken $750 earlier that day and a total of $960 in cash over several days.

Patel was arrested at the scene and transported to the Warrington Township Police Department for processing. He was later released pending further court proceedings.

Patel has been charged with theft by unlawful taking.

All charges are allegations, and a suspect, arrestee, or defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
