Warrant Arrest Follows Drug And Counterfeit Investigation in Montco

HUNTINGDON VALLEY, PA — A 23-year-old man was taken into custody Friday on an outstanding warrant tied to a drug and counterfeit currency investigation stemming from a January traffic stop, police said.

According to the Lower Moreland Township Police Department, Tymir Richard Patrick was arrested on March 20 following the issuance of a criminal warrant on January 28 by Magisterial District Judge Thomas P. Murt.

Police reported that the investigation began on January 14 during a traffic stop involving a white Chevrolet Tahoe. Authorities said the driver, identified as Eli Prince, was found to have a suspended license related to prior DUI offenses.

According to investigators, Prince was allegedly found in possession of multiple small packages of Suboxone, a Schedule III controlled substance, along with a quantity of U.S. currency.

Police said the passenger, identified as Patrick, was also allegedly found to be in possession of narcotics and currency. Investigators reported that additional evidence recovered during the investigation included drugs, drug paraphernalia, and suspected counterfeit currency.

According to police, Patrick has been charged with manufacture, delivery, or possession with intent to manufacture or deliver a controlled substance; intentional possession of a controlled substance by a person not registered; possession of a small amount of marijuana; and use or possession of drug paraphernalia.

All suspects, arrestees, and defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
