Wanted Man Caught in Wilmington with Crack Cocaine and Heroin!

WILMINGTON, DEWilmington Police have arrested a man wanted on outstanding warrants who now faces additional drug-related allegations.

On June 13, 2025, at approximately 2:25 p.m., members of the Wilmington Police Department’s Uniformed Services Division observed a wanted individual in the 700 block of North Washington Street. Officers made contact with the suspect, identified as 34-year-old Carlos Rodriquez, who was taken into custody without incident.

During the arrest, police reportedly discovered that Rodriquez was in possession of 14.82 grams of crack cocaine and 1.26 grams of heroin. He has since been charged with possession of a controlled substance in both Tier 2 and Tier 1 quantities, in addition to his existing warrants.

Rodriquez was arraigned in the New Castle County Court of Common Pleas and subsequently committed to the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution on $8,000 cash-only bail.

Authorities emphasize that all suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Further updates on this case will be shared as they become available.
