Upper Moreland Police Seek Footage After Man in Hospital Gown Found Near High School

WILLOW GROVE, PA — The Upper Moreland Township Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in reviewing security and doorbell camera footage following an unusual incident involving a man found wearing a hospital gown over the weekend.

According to police, officers made contact with the 38-year-old white male on Sunday morning at Upper Moreland Senior High School. Investigators say the man, described as balding, 6 feet 1 inch tall, and weighing about 170 pounds, was last seen the previous evening around 8:00 p.m. at the Huntingdon Valley Country Club while wearing the same hospital gown.

Authorities are requesting that residents and businesses located between the country club and the high school review any available security or doorbell camera footage from Saturday night and contact police if the man appears in the recordings.

Police confirm that the man is currently in custody and emphasize there is no ongoing threat to the public.

Authorities also remind the public that any individuals connected to ongoing investigations are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
