Two Men Wounded in Lancaster Avenue Shooting

WILMINGTON, DE — Police are investigating a shooting that left two young men injured Saturday evening in the city’s west side.

According to Wilmington Police, officers responded at approximately 6:50 p.m. on February 28 to the 2800 block of Lancaster Avenue for a report of a shooting.

Police stated that a 20-year-old male was located with a gunshot wound and transported to a hospital in stable condition.

Authorities also reported that an 18-year-old male gunshot victim arrived at a hospital and was listed in stable condition.

No arrests have been announced. Police said the incident remains under investigation and additional details will be released when available.
