Two Glenolden Women Charged in Alleged Assault Following School Confrontation

Arrested

SHARON HILL, PA — Two Delaware County women have been arrested following an alleged assault that police say occurred shortly after school dismissal in Sharon Hill earlier this month.

According to the Sharon Hill Borough Police Department, the incident took place on November 5, 2025, in the 1100 block of Chester Pike. Investigators said the victims were followed from Academy Park High School by 34-year-old Lashay Simpson-Sheppard and 18-year-old Dashay Sheppard, both of Glenolden, along with a juvenile female.

Police allege that after following the victims’ vehicle, the three suspects exited their own car, dragged the victims from their vehicle, and physically assaulted them before fleeing the scene.

Following the investigation, Simpson-Sheppard and Sheppard were each charged with assault and related offenses. Both women surrendered to authorities on November 6, 2025, and are scheduled to appear for a preliminary hearing later this month. Police said the juvenile involved has also been charged through the juvenile court system.

Authorities emphasize that all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
