Trainer Borough Man Charged with Burglary After Alleged Domestic Incident

TRAINER, PA — A 31-year-old man has been taken into custody following an alleged domestic-related incident earlier this month in Trainer Borough.

According to the Trainer Borough Police Department, officers responded at approximately 4:14 a.m. on February 8, 2026, to a reported domestic incident in the 4100 block of Post Road. Police said officers made contact with an adult female victim upon arrival and were advised that the suspect had fled prior to their arrival.

Police stated officers observed visible redness and swelling on the victim’s face that they said was consistent with an assault. According to police, investigators determined that Dominic Tyler Otero allegedly forced entry into the victim’s residence, physically assaulted her, made threatening statements, and fled on foot. Authorities said children were present inside the residence at the time of the incident.

According to police, an arrest warrant was issued February 11, 2026, by District Court 32-1-22 under docket number MJ-32122-CR-0000026-2026. Otero was taken into custody Thursday, February 12, 2026, by members of the Trainer Borough Police Department.

Otero has been charged with burglary, criminal trespass, terroristic threats, simple assault, defiant trespass, and harassment. Court records were not immediately available to indicate a preliminary hearing date.

All suspects, arrestees, and defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
