OXFORD, PA — A routine traffic stop in Oxford led to the arrest of a 21-year-old man who police say was wanted on an out-of-state warrant.
According to Oxford Police, officers observed a vehicle with multiple traffic violations on South 5th Street at approximately 3:33 p.m. on Wednesday, March 25. A traffic stop was conducted in the 200 block of South 4th Street, where officers made contact with the driver, identified as Jaime Cuxulic, 21, of Oxford.
Police reported that further investigation determined Cuxulic allegedly did not possess a valid driver’s license and was wanted on an active bench warrant out of Maryland.
Cuxulic was taken into custody and transported to the Oxford Police Department, according to authorities. Police said he was issued a traffic citation for allegedly operating a vehicle without a valid license before being transferred to the custody of the Maryland State Police.
All suspects, arrestees, and defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
