TOWNSEND, DE — Delaware State Police have charged three 17-year-old Odessa High School students in connection with an alleged robbery that took place on school grounds earlier this week.
According to investigators, on October 8, 2025, a School Resource Officer was notified of a reported robbery inside one of the school’s restrooms. Police said the incident occurred around 11:45 a.m., when three students allegedly approached another 17-year-old male student, pinned him against a wall, and took his personal belongings before fleeing the area. The victim was not injured.
Following the investigation, troopers identified the three suspects — all from Townsend — and took them into custody on October 10, 2025. Each was charged with second-degree robbery and second-degree conspiracy, both felonies.
The teens were arraigned in New Castle County Family Court. One was released on a $5,000 unsecured bond, while the other two were released on $8,000 unsecured bonds.
All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
