Three Charged in Connection With Series of Retail Thefts at Morgantown Walmart

MORGANTOWN, PACaernarvon Township Police announced charges against multiple individuals following an investigation into a string of retail thefts that occurred at a Walmart in Berks County throughout August.

According to authorities, the thefts took place between August 6 and August 27, 2025, at Walmart #3501, located at 100 Crossings Boulevard in Caernarvon Township. Police allege that a group of individuals, including 21-year-old Yaribel Toribio-Sosa, 23-year-old Raynord Abad-Tena, 20-year-old Kelly Beard, and several others, were involved in the incidents.

The combined loss and attempted loss to the retailer was estimated at approximately $3,000. Following the investigation, arrests were made, and police confirmed the suspects were taken into custody on October 3, 2025.

Authorities stated that the case remains active, and additional individuals connected to the thefts may face charges.

All charges are allegations, and a suspect, arrestee, or defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
