Three Arrested, One Wanted After Police Raid Alleged Wilmington Drug Operations

WILMINGTON, DEDelaware State Police have arrested three Wilmington men and are searching for a fourth suspect following an investigation that allegedly uncovered a large-scale narcotics operation spanning multiple city residences.

According to police, the arrests followed two search warrants executed on November 8, 2025, by the Delaware State Police Troop 2 Drug Unit and the Special Operations Response Team. The searches took place at homes on the 200 block of North Rodney Street and the 700 block of North Monroe Street in Wilmington.

Investigators allege that 30-year-old Tayvon Brown, 28-year-old Rhasheed Gilliam, 39-year-old Alexander Wade, and 44-year-old Darvin Connor were involved in the distribution of illegal drugs from those properties.

During the Monroe Street search, officers took Brown into custody without incident and reportedly found two grams of suspected crack cocaine, 18 grams of psilocybin mushrooms, and drug-packaging materials, including a digital scale.

Gilliam and Wade were apprehended during the Rodney Street search, where a child was present. Police allege that Wade attempted to flee before being detained. The search uncovered approximately 321 grams of suspected heroin/fentanyl, 31 grams of marijuana, 11 rounds of ammunition, and materials believed to be used for drug manufacturing.

Brown was charged with multiple felonies, including four counts of possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance, three counts of possession of a controlled substance in a Tier 1 quantity, conspiracy in the second degree, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was committed to the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution on a $30,200 secured bond.

Wade faces charges including possession with intent to distribute a Tier 3 quantity of a controlled substance, possession of ammunition by a person prohibited, conspiracy, resisting arrest, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was held on a $134,000 cash bond.

Gilliam was charged with possession with intent to distribute a Tier 3 quantity of a controlled substance, unlawful operation of a clandestine laboratory, conspiracy, and possession of drug paraphernalia. His bail was set at $142,200 cash.

Police are still seeking 44-year-old Darvin Connor, who remains at large and faces several felony charges, including possession of a controlled substance in a Tier 3 quantity, endangering the welfare of a child, and operating a clandestine laboratory.
