Thieves Target South Heidelberg Shed, Steal Off-Road Vehicles and Power Equipment in Bold Overnight Heist

WERNERSVILLE, PA — In the quiet overnight hours between July 1 and July 2, a shed burglary in South Heidelberg Township resulted in the theft of several high-value items, according to local authorities.

The South Heidelberg Township Police Department reported that the incident occurred in the vicinity of Rolling Drive and Pine Tree Lane. Upon discovering the break-in, the victim noted the following items were stolen:

  • A 2022 Yamaha Raptor 700R SE (black and lime green),
  • A 2021 SSR Motorsport 110 (orange and black with a royal blue gas cap),
  • A 1970s minibike,
  • A Husqvarna backpack blower,
  • An Echo weed whacker, and
  • A Yamaha gas can.

Surveillance footage captured a box truck in the area at approximately 2:09 a.m. on July 2. However, police stated that the video quality was insufficient to clearly identify the vehicle or its occupants.

Investigators are urging residents in the area of Rolling Drive and Pine Tree Lane to review any available security footage from the night in question, as additional visual evidence could prove critical in identifying those responsible.
