WILMINGTON, DE — Wilmington Police have opened an investigation into a Thanksgiving evening shooting that left a 19-year-old man injured in the city’s West Side neighborhood.
According to authorities, the incident occurred on Thursday, November 27, 2025, at approximately 6:01 p.m. in the 600 block of North West Street. Police say the victim, a 19-year-old male, later arrived at a hospital, where he was reported to be in stable condition after sustaining a gunshot wound.
Detectives are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting, and officials stated that further details will be released when appropriate.
