WILMINGTON, DE — Wilmington Police are investigating an early morning shooting that left a 19-year-old man hospitalized in stable condition.
According to authorities, the incident occurred on Saturday, July 12, at approximately 1:03 a.m., in the 2300 block of West Street. Officers arrived on the scene and discovered the young man suffering from a gunshot wound. He was quickly transported to a local hospital, where he is reported to be in stable condition.
Details surrounding the circumstances of the shooting remain limited as investigators continue to piece together what led to the violence. The Wilmington Police Department has not yet released information regarding a suspect or possible motive, and no arrests have been reported at this time.
