BENSALEM, PA — Police have charged a local man in connection with an alleged attempted robbery and assault that occurred earlier this month outside a Bensalem Wawa, and they are asking for the public’s help in identifying a second suspect.
According to the Bensalem Township Police Department, officers responded around 11:00 p.m. on October 13, 2025, to reports of a fight in progress at the Wawa located at Street Road and Kingston Way. Upon arrival, police learned that a man had been assaulted by two males who allegedly tried to steal his scooter.
The victim told officers that the pair approached him, struck him multiple times in the head and face, and then fled the scene without taking the scooter. Responding officers were unable to locate the suspects at the time of the incident.
Detectives reviewed surveillance footage from Wawa and bystander videos, which helped identify one suspect as 19-year-old Angel Lorick of Bensalem. Police said Lorick turned himself in on October 23, 2025, at Bensalem Police Headquarters.
He was arraigned before District Justice Lisa Gaier and remanded to the Bucks County Correctional Facility on 10 percent of $350,000 bail. Lorick faces charges of robbery, assault, and related offenses.
Police continue to search for the second suspect, described as a male wearing a black coat with a green sweatshirt underneath. Anyone who recognizes the individual or has information related to the case is urged to contact Bensalem Police at (215) 633-3719 or submit an anonymous tip online.
All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
