Spring Township Police Charge Man in Connection With Retail Theft at Petco

WYOMISSING, PA — A 57-year-old man has been charged following an alleged shoplifting incident at a local Petco store last month.

According to the Spring Township Police Department, officers were dispatched on August 23, 2025, to the Petco located at 2765 Paper Mill Road for a report of retail theft. Police said merchandise valued at $414.98 was taken from the store.

Following an investigation, authorities charged Juan Rodriguez-Marcano with retail theft and receiving stolen property. He was arrested on September 6, 2025.

Police emphasized that Rodriguez-Marcano, like all defendants, is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
