AVONDALE, PAPennsylvania State Police released a series of incident reports detailing crashes, arrests, and active investigations across Chester County between November 28 and December 6. The incidents range from deer-related collisions and weather-related crashes to DUI arrests, PFA violations, drug-related offenses, and a fraud investigation. All individuals arrested or charged are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Troopers responded on December 3 in Penn Township after a northbound driver on U.S. 1 struck a deer just north of Route 796. The vehicle sustained front-end damage, and no injuries were reported. Later the same day in Thornbury Township, police documented a two-vehicle crash on Route 926 when one vehicle attempted to exit a parking lot and turned into the path of another. Both drivers were uninjured.

On December 5, troopers investigated a crash at Bethel Road and Roney’s Corner Road in Lower Oxford Township after wet pavement contributed to a collision between two vehicles. A passenger reported a suspected minor injury but declined medical transport. That same afternoon, a driver traveling on Oxford Road near Little Elk Creek Road in East Nottingham Township lost control on rain-slicked pavement and struck an oncoming vehicle; no injuries were reported.

Troopers also handled a juvenile case on December 4, when a 17-year-old from Landenberg was found in possession of a THC vape pen in Penn Township. That investigation remains active.

Severe road conditions contributed to several additional crashes. On December 3, icy pavement on Waterway Road in East Nottingham Township caused a box truck to slide into a guardrail before coming to rest in a ditch. No injuries were reported, and utility companies were notified because of damage to roadside equipment.
