Security Guard Accused of Brutal Assault That Left Man Unconscious Outside Huntingdon Valley Restaurant

HUNTINGDON VALLEY, PA — A security guard has been arrested following a late-night altercation outside a restaurant in Huntingdon Valley that left one man hospitalized, according to the Lower Moreland Township Police Department.

The incident occurred in the early hours of June 29, 2025, at approximately 1:49 a.m., near Pine Road and Philmont Avenue. Police were called to the scene after reports of a physical disturbance involving multiple adult men who had gathered outside the restaurant after it had closed for the night.

Through subsequent investigation, authorities determined that Kris Michael Sanchez, a 35-year-old security personnel, approached the group and began throwing punches at several individuals involved in the disturbance. One person was reportedly struck, fell to the ground unconscious, and was later transported to a local hospital for treatment.

Sanchez was arrested at the scene and is facing a series of charges in connection with the incident. He has been charged with one count of aggravated assault, four counts of simple assault — attempt, and four counts of harassment involving physical contact.

The Lower Moreland Township Police Department emphasized that Sanchez, as with all individuals charged, is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
