WYOMISSING, PA — Authorities in Wyomissing confirmed that a second suspect connected to the August 12 shooting near The Works has been taken into custody.
Police reported that Ethan S. Gonzalez surrendered to law enforcement on September 12, 2025. He has been charged with multiple offenses, including criminal attempt homicide, aggravated assault, simple assault, firearms violations, recklessly endangering another person, and criminal conspiracy.
Following his arrest, Gonzalez was arraigned, and bail was denied. He is currently being held while awaiting an “Interest of Justice” hearing in Berks County Court of Common Pleas.
The August 12 shooting drew significant attention in the Wyomissing community, prompting an intensive investigation. Law enforcement officials expressed appreciation to the public for its cooperation, noting that tips and assistance aided in advancing the case.
