Retail Theft Suspect Sought as Police Issue Most Wanted Alert in Exton

EXTON, PA — Police in West Whiteland Township are asking for the public’s help to locate a man wanted in connection with an alleged retail theft at one of Chester County’s busiest shopping centers.

The West Whiteland Police Department said an active arrest warrant has been issued for Kent D. Jones, 57, in connection with an alleged shoplifting incident at the Whiteland Towne Center in Exton.

According to police, Jones is charged with retail theft and receiving stolen property, stemming from an alleged incident at a business located at 229 West Lincoln Highway. The warrant was issued on January 6, 2026, by District Court 15-4-03 under docket number CR-8-2026 and remains active.

Authorities describe Jones as a Black male, approximately 5 feet 11 inches tall, weighing about 290 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

Police emphasized that they are seeking information regarding Jones’ whereabouts and urged anyone with knowledge related to the case to come forward. Members of the public are asked not to attempt to confront Jones themselves, but instead to contact West Whiteland Township Police at 610-363-0200.

All charges referenced by police are allegations. Jones is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
