WYOMISSING, PA — Wyomissing police are asking for the public’s help in identifying two individuals believed to be connected to an alleged retail theft at a local business earlier this month.
According to the Wyomissing Police Department, the two individuals are considered persons of interest in the alleged theft of approximately $170 worth of merchandise from a retail establishment located at 1149 Berkshire Boulevard. The incident was reported on January 7, and investigators are working to determine the identities of those involved.
Police have released images of the individuals in hopes that someone in the community may recognize them and provide information that could help advance the investigation. No arrests have been announced, and authorities have not released additional details about the items that were allegedly taken.
Anyone who recognizes either of the individuals or has information related to the case is urged to contact the Wyomissing Police Department at 610-375-6102 or submit a tip through the department’s Crimewatch page. Anonymous tips can also be provided by calling Crime Alert Berks at 877-373-9913 or by texting 847411 and beginning the message with ALERTBERKS, followed by the tip. Tipsters are asked to reference incident number 39-26-0148.
Police emphasized that the investigation involves allegations only and that any individual identified or charged in connection with the case is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
