WYOMISSING, PA — Two suspects are accused of stealing thousands of dollars in merchandise during a retail theft at a cosmetics store in Wyomissing, according to Spring Township police.
Police reported that officers were dispatched on February 28 to Ulta, located at 2755 Paper Mill Road, for a report of a retail theft.
According to investigators, two women and a man allegedly entered the store and filled tote bags with merchandise before leaving without paying. Authorities said the total value of the stolen items was reported at $7,660.00.
Following an investigation, police said Lashawnda Elaine Edwards, 32, was arrested and charged with retail theft, receiving stolen property, and conspiracy.
Police also reported that Stan Kovanda Davis, 32, was arrested and charged with retail theft, receiving stolen property, and conspiracy in connection with the incident.
Authorities said the investigation into the theft remains ongoing.
All suspects, arrestees, and defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
