Police Seek Teen Suspect in North Philadelphia Shooting Caught on Camera

PHILADELPHIA, PA — The Philadelphia Police Department is asking for the public’s help identifying a suspect wanted in connection with a non-fatal shooting that occurred earlier this week in North Philadelphia.

Authorities said the incident took place on October 28, 2025, along the 1400 block of West Susquehanna Avenue. Investigators from the Shooting Investigation Group released surveillance footage showing the suspect and are urging anyone with information to come forward.

The suspect is described as a Black male, approximately 16 to 18 years old, wearing a gray hooded jacket, navy blue sweatpants, black sneakers, and carrying a black Under Armour backpack.

Police advise that anyone who sees the suspect should not approach him but instead call 911 immediately. Tips can also be submitted by phone at 215-686-TIPS (8477) or by contacting the Shooting Investigations Group directly at 215-686-8271.

The investigation remains ongoing, and all individuals involved are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
